Being held and seen is a sacred joy that is hard to describe, so I tried, here, to convey that beautiful energy where the warmth and depth of love is communicated with touch. It was a labor of love and perseverance- the hours of sketching, creating layers of light and shadow, was a process indeed.
Intimacy is more than just a physical bond- it is created through time, energy, shared vulnerability, and intention. It is gritty, sensual, deep, and beautiful.
A little of this energy went into the sketch, the brush strokes, making this particular painting an intense pleasure to bring to life.
