Visiting, once again, a world in monotone, yet full of depth and feeling. Here, two muses sit, caught in time; a moment of tenderness and comfort. After laying down my brush and sitting with them for a while, this little poem was inspired.
There is refuge in the silence In the smallest of touches The space between breaths
Refuge in the shadows In the whisperer of cloth falling In release, in rest
It is there, in the deepest dark The brush of silken lips On the trembling hand and brow
In the quiet before dawn Refuge in what came before, will come And what is now
