There is comfort, a sense of wholeness, that is found when you are seen and held in the heart of another. I wanted to bring a gentle sensuality and loving intention to the canvas- from the curve of the hands, to the shadows that belong to both figures that bind them together. It was such a joy to build this piece, layer by layer, and to finally sit back...and breathe.
