Every time I am at the canvas and drawing from it's surface one of my Shibari and Steampunk muses, I am immersed in the feeling of sensual freedom; liberation from the constrictive confines of societal taboos and stereotypes. Exercising my own will and desires and being carefully wrapped in the intricate designs of rope has been one of the most freeing and beautiful experiences in my life. To include that feeling and the imagery on the canvas is yet another way for me to re-live and re-process those moments.
