The heron features heavily in my latest works as I found such a friend on one of my morning walks. I love sitting and staring out on the water, with Harry (as I've come to call him) sitting out on the rocks, companionably sharing the quiet hours with me.
Here, I imagined a woman, blooming, cradling a feathered friend and embodying a connection with nature that, I suppose, can only really live on the canvas. ✨
