Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a time for remembering and celebration; for laughter, music, food, and inviting in the memories of those who have gone on before us. The chilly days, with the sun slanting down on my canvas were perfect for the hours spent thinking of friends and family on the other side; for letting the brush bring to life a colorful scene that invites you to remember with me, laugh with me, celebrate life and memory.
