Seattle Erotic Art Festival 2026, markets, and more!
Hello friends!
It is a chilly March morning and I can smell the rain through the open window in my studio. Everything outside is muted and gray and quiet. Today, after yoga and a workout, I went straight to my table to work on some mini florals. I am very much in a dark, somber mood and they fit perfectly.

It is mid-month and I've so much work to do: finish a series of these mini's for upcoming markets; attend volunteer meetings for this year's Seattle Erotic Art festival, where I will be helping out as VIP lead this year (AND sharing art!); perform with both bands at a few shows in the next couple of months, which means a lot of rehearsals; and begin planning for my solo show, which is scheduled in August. Whew! Time to take a breath...

Today, on the to-do list:
- Coffee (of course)!
- Finish at least two mini floral paintings
- Wrap up 16x20 that you've been ignoring. (Yeah, you know the one, Becca).
- PR for website/post
- Work on bird painting
- Eat!
- Do 1-2 tutorials
- Sketch/map out new idea on large canvas
I absolutely NEED outdoor time- for renewal, healing, inspiration. It was so nice to have a family trip to Whidbey Island, where I hung back and listened to the wind; stopped to watch a bird flit from tree to tree. Picked up a few lovely, smooth stones from the beach to take home as mementos. There is something magical about forests and the wildness of crashing waves; they are spaces I would happily inhabit forever.

I can't wait to visit again. But, for now, back to the canvas!
As always, friends, I'm glad you're here. 🦋
